Toughest 10K

In my opinion this race lives up to its name. It was actually lots of fun, it reminded me of cross country in highschool. We ran up and all around soldier hollow. Up steep climbs, and down steep hills. I was having fun till I realized a couple things. There was not enough water, it was HOT! And running through weeds and dirt trails makes you thirsty! Then the course was marked horribly! A LOT of people missed the turn and we ended up running an extra MILE. That's a REALLY long way when you've already been put through the first 6. We ended up finishing backwards, and no we were not the only ones. I loved the terrain, and the idea of it, but I will NEVER run it again unless they properly mark this course! WHEW!
