So one Sunday I'm making dinner, Tanner wants to help me pour the beans into a dish, I let him up on the counter and without thinking hand him a can with the lid raised up. I open a cabinet to get a bowl and he starts SCREAMING. I didn't even have to look. He tried to pull the lid off, and it sliced his thumb open, not just open, but deep :( How do you not panic? So off we go to the ER (again. He split his head open two or three weeks earlier on the deck, they just glued that cut back together thank goodness) I don't understand why they are so brutal with the numbing shot! I had to hold Tanner down, it was AWFUL. I hated every minute of it. So he got 5 stitches, and after a bad infection and ceflex, and a screaming match with the nurses who took out the stitches, its finally healed up and better. I never even thought about the danger from a stupid lid. They have those openers that dull the lids, I'm getting one.
He wasn't this happy at the time. This is the day we finally got to take them out!
