Saturday I went to an old friend of mine's life celebration. Heather is a girl I played volleyball with at UVSC. She has ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's. She's been in a wheelchair for a while now, and has been on a ventilator for over a year. After much prayer and thought her and her amazing husband both received the answer that her time on this Earth is through. She'll be turning off her ventilator. She had a big party and I was able to go see her and say goodbye. She is such fun girl. I remember her being the cause of many evious doings and she always made me laugh. She is a very courageous girl and I can't even imagine being in her situation. It was a sad day, yet it was so nice to see old friends. Thanks to Heather for the opportunity she gave me to visit with her one last time.

Hey Tasha it was really good to visit with you the other day! Wish it would have been under better circumstances though. You have a darling family! I was wondering if I can steal that picture of all of us with Heather? I would really appreciate it! I'll wait to hear from you before I steal it, Thanks!!
It was so good to catch up with you at Heather's Party. We definately need to do a better job of staying in touch. Yeah for blogging!
So fun to catch up. Luv ya, lets not let another few years get between us.
I love and hate the pictures, I have a double chin (I will blame it on pregnancy). Thanks for the pics and you better plan our Settlers party. I am up for anytime, except Monday and Thursday 5pm-10pm, I work.
