My mom decided we needed a girls trip to New York. So off we went. My sister, two sister in laws, my mom and I spent five days in NYC and it was amazing! I never thought I'd actually like a trip there. I was complaining actually a few days before saying I'd rather go to the beach. Well I'm changing my opinion! It was awesome. SO awesome. I loved it and can't wait to go back.
Brittanie, Traci, Kelsie & I on times square. Our hotel was right here too. This place was crazy. It'd be midnight and there were still tons of people everywhere! We didn't go back to the room till after 12 every night. We spent most of our late nights at Sephora playing in all the makeup! It was so fun!

WICKED Ok so by some sort of luck we decided to go see Wicked. I'd heard it was really good but none of us had no idea what it was about or how great it actually was. We lucked out on tickets and ended up getting 10th row and center producer seats for way cheap the day before. It was AMAZING. From start to finish we were captivated by it. Honestly its the most entertaining show. The music was incredible, if you haven't seen it its a definite must see!
This is at the top of the empire state building
.We rode the subway a few times this is at our stop.

This is the sphere that stood in the plaza of the world trade centers. They have moved it to a park with a flame burning at its base. You can see how it was damaged and burned. Its incredible to see things like this and be so close to ground zero. We toured through the visitors center. I wanted to cry the entire time. They have items that were found. There's a firemans jacket and helmet that was killed on display. There are quotes all over the walls of stories and some messages that people left there loved ones. It was heartbreaking to read the stories, and to see. What a terrible tragedy. I will never forget the visit, or the feeling that was there.

This is inside Trinity Church. It was so pretty.

I don't understand the purpose of this bull. But everyone was fighting to get a turn to touch it and take a picture with it so we did too!
Central Park was beautiful

The Statue of Liberty was awesome.

Ok so here we are in a secret purse room. This was awesome! There are purses all over the place. This was definitely a highlight! I think I came home with ten. LOL and I wanted more!
All of us on the tour bus. This was the best way to see the city. We also did the night tour which takes you across the bridge to Brooklyn. It was beautiful.
In the subway station. The only way to travel.

Traci and I woke up early for the Today show, everyone else was too tired! So we walked to the plaza and got to talk with Ann who was super awesome, and we were on tv a few times too! It was so fun! Thanks to Traci for getting out of bed!

Awesome! Sounds like you had a lot of fun! My husband proposed on top of the empire state building, fond memories of that old place. Glad you had some fun!
Next time you go to NYC, count me in! I love it there. Sometimes I think I should just take a chance and pack up and move there for a year. Fun. Too bad I'm chicken. How've you been?
